Innovation and adaptation: the SG2P uniform designed specifically for military use

SG2P is a chemical protective suit designed for military use. Innovative and adaptable, this product has recently been certified. In this article, you will find a description of the suit, its strengths, and the regulatory framework governing its performance.

SG2P is a chemical protective suit against liquids. We co-developed this product with the Swedish Army and the Swedish company Interspiro, which is part of our group (Ocenco).

This chemical protection suit combines the best features of two other MATISEC suits, the SAUVEGARDE and the TSA. It protects against toxic warfare agents. It is a single-use self-protection and/or emergency evacuation suit. The SG2P is transparent in color so that it can be worn over camouflage or reconnaissance suits. This single-use product has a shelf life of one year and requires no maintenance.

The normative and regulatory framework

SG2P provides chemical protection against type 3 (sprays) and type 4 (aerosols) liquids. It has been tested in accordance with EN 14605 and Finabel 0.7.C standards. Finabel 0.7.C testing guarantees protection against the following chemical warfare agents: sarin, soman, tabun, and mustard gas.

This is a two-piece outfit. The top part features:

• A hood with elastic face seal
• Elastic wristbands (or gloves made of the same material as the outfit)

The lower section is equipped with:

• Lace that allows adjustment to size
• Attached overshoes reinforced with non-slip strips
• Ankle adjustment straps

The SG2P weighs less than 1 kg. It is specially designed to be ergonomic and suitable for critical situations. The suit ensures the wearer freedom of movement and optimal comfort. It is designed for immediate responsiveness; for example, in the event of the spread of toxic warfare agents, it can be put on in less than a minute. Its ergonomics and lightness reduce fatigue and stress in dangerous conditions. 

Full protective gear:

SG2P is manufactured from our own ATG complex, consisting of 14 layers of barrier film. It offers exceptional chemical resistance and provides complete protection for the wearer's body.

The SG2P protective suit offers adjustable systems that guarantee comfort, performance, and adaptability for wearers.
