Renovation of a historic fire truck: the BERLIET truck


The BERLIET truck is a 1957 fire engine. It is a symbol of the history
of Bourgoin-Jallieu. MATISEC is supporting this renovation project. It symbolizes
both the preservation of heritage and innovation in safety. MATISEC has been involved in the Nord Isère region's "
" (Heritage in Action) initiative since its inception and attaches great importance to supporting the region's heritage stakeholders. We invite you to discover the progress of this superb project.

The beginning
This renovation project began in May 2020. Here is what the truck looked like at the start of the
project.

Progress
For five years now, passionate teams have been pursuing this colossal task. It involves
completely renovating the vehicle, including the structure with the chassis and the interior with all
the equipment.

We are proud to support and follow this project, which is perfectly in line with our sector of activity
