Meet William BIENSTMAN: materials engineer in the R&D department at MATISEC

Materials engineer

MATISEC's R&D department strives to design ever more efficient products that comply with current regulations and incorporate industry innovations. William BIENSTMAN has been a materials engineer for 7 years, and heads up the 3-person "flexible materials" department. He works with various departments within the company, including Sales, Purchasing and Quality. In this interview, he shares his educational and professional background, as well as his day-to-day responsibilities within the company.

"I really enjoyed this exchange between different engineers with completely different jobs, and that's why I applied to MATISEC".

"My job is to develop category 3 protective clothing.

"My favorite part of my job is when products finally hit the market. It's satisfying to see the product marketed after having participated in its development process."
