Training and after-sales service

MATISEC offers a training service for our customers. Training courses can take place on our premises or on your site, either face-to-face or off-line.
Our after-sales service comprises an in-house service department (specialized in the inspection and repair of diving suits and breathing apparatus) and an external service department (providing regulatory inspections and maintenance services on your site).

THE MATISEC STORY

1974

CREATION OF MATISEC

Since it was founded in 1974, MATISEC has been renewing itself year after year to offer high-quality products and services to people working in hostile environments.

It all began in Saint-Alban-de-Roche, Isère. A true strategic point, the Rhône-Alpes region is the cradle of many textile manufacturers and the place where renowned engineering units trade with the world.

1980

OPENING OF THE A.R.I. RESEARCH AND DESIGN SECTION

MATISEC made the research and design of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (S.B.A.) its area of expertise in 1980, with the safety and protection of its customers in mind.

2000 - 2005

INAUGURATION OF 2 PRODUCTION SITES

Always striving for perfection, it was in 2000 that the company expanded and diversified into the manufacture of garments using welded technical materials for the production of equipment meeting the needs of the nuclear and pharmaceutical industries in particular, at a second production site.

2007-2019

MATISEC JOINS THE OCENCO GROUP AND INTEGRATION OF SUBSIDIARIES

2007 was a pivotal year for MATISEC, which demonstrated its ambition by joining the American OCENCO group, market leader in emergency evacuation equipment.

A new production site opens the same year. This gave MATISEC the capacity to absorb the volumes of growing demand in a competitive market.

The company knows how to surround itself with solid, bold teams in France, Tunisia and more recently in Portugal since 2018 with the creation of a third production site.

2020

NEW HEAD OFFICE IN VAULX-MILIEU (ISÈRE 38)

In 2020, MATISEC will double the size of its premises by moving to Vaulx-Milieu, Isère. The new headquarters will be home to all our employees, who are proud to protect men and women in their daily high-risk lives.

2024

MATISEC CELEBRATES ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY

With over 50 years of expertise in respiratory protection against the risks of toxic, biological, chemical and fire-related particles, we have forged a strong position with our customers.
